Matthew “Matt” LaNasa

Matthew “Matt” LaNasa

Matthew “Matt” LaNasa holds the position of Principal at Silicon Energy Systems, LLC. In this role, he spearheads sales initiatives while ensuring stringent quality control measures are in place. Prior to his tenure with the company, Matt amassed 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He began his career at NOLA Lending before transitioning to roles at Fidelity Bank and Angel Oak Home Loans. Before venturing into mortgages, Matt served as a machine gunner in the United States Marine Corps, specifically in the Second Battalion Six Marines, Golf Company. Notably, his unit was the first to be deployed after the events of 9/11, making him a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. Presently, Matt resides in Baton Rouge alongside his wife, son, and daughter. A devout parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, he finds joy in various pursuits such as construction, hunting, fishing, golf, and cooking. He cherishes moments spent with loved ones and actively contributes to his community by supporting local charities.

Jacob Oldag

Jacob Oldag serves as a Principal at Silicon Energy Systems, LLC, bringing with him extensive expertise as a licensed master electrician and certified solar contractor. Leading the company's day-to-day field operations, Jacob's fascination with all things electrical and mechanical dates back to his early years, where he developed a penchant for dismantling objects to understand their inner workings—a passion he has nurtured for over 17 years.

Graduating with a B.S. in Construction Management from LSU, Jacob envisions the renewable energy sector as the future, surpassing existing technologies. This vision propelled him to establish SES, leveraging his skills to offer more accessible energy solutions to both commercial and residential clients. While originally from California, Jacob was raised in southern Louisiana and currently calls Baton Rouge home, where he resides with his wife.
